Julie Lynne Conley
August 11, 1963 ~ July 1, 2018
Julie is survived by her loving husband of 32 years Stephen and 2 daughters Brittany and Kimberly (Kimmy) and son Stephen (Stevie)., as well as her mother, Majorie and her 3 brothers James (Jim)( Jodie), Craig (Sheri) and Bruce. She retired from California Children Service, County of San Diego after 23 years as a Pediatric Physical Therapy Assistant. She had a tremendous love of cats and life. Take solace in the fact that she is no longer suffering .
Family is accepting flowers or donations in Julie's name to cholangiocarcinoma research.

Family vacation from 2010 at the Grand Canyon
I first met Julie when I started working at CCS. I was immediately drawn to her because she just has the greatest sense of humor. She saw how green I was and she took me under her wing. She was one of my first mentors. What amazed me the most about her was her ability to see the best of things. She was always so positive and she cared about her clients and coworkers a lot. She also remembered everything! Birthdays, life events, when everyone started working for our company. I remember her always being so proud of her children: Brittney, Kimmy, and Stevie. She would tell us the accomplishments they had made or anything sweet or funny that they did. The love always shone so bright in her eyes when she told those stories, and you could just feel the unconditional love emanating from her words. I loved how she always had the best sweaters and shirts during the holidays. She always lifted everyone’s spirits. I will always remember Julie as the most jovial and transparent person. She always said what she thought and felt, and her dry humor always made me laugh. I will truly miss her.
I had the pleasure of working with Julie at CCS. She was such an amazing person. When I first started working at CCS I remember thinking I had never met anyone like her. Julie always spoke her mind no matter what… I loved that about her!! She was full of life and love. This was most obvious when she talked about all her family, including her cats. She also loved her job and she treated all her kiddos like they were her own. When I left CCS in 2015 I missed Julie and knew I would never have the pleasure of working with someone like her. I missed her funny comments. I missed her laugh. I missed our potluck days when she, without fail, brought hostess mini donuts. I missed everything about her. But, I knew Julie would be at CCS for many years to come and that I would see her the next time I paid my old job a visit. I still cannot believe she is no longer with us. She will be missed and remembered by many. Julie, I love you, and I thank you for all the love you showed me. Rest in peace, my Friend. –Lupita
I worked with Julie at a time when both of us had small children. We shared many talks about our kids and funny stories about things they would do. At one point I recall Happy Meal toys were a daily topic. Even after I left the MTU, I always remembered her birthday (Aug 11) and the triple chocolate cake she so loved. I am so glad that I was given the opportunity to have known Julie and share these moments. I was really happy when she found me on fb and we reconnected. I feel this was really special because we were still in touch very recently. I’m just sorry I was never able to make that lunch date with her I wanted to but she was too sick. She will be missed.
Julie and I were in Camp Fire Girls together in the 4th and 5th grade and I adored her! I only lived in Colorado with her for 2 years before I moved but we wrote letters for many, many years and I’ve known Brittany and Kimmy and Steve through those letters. She adored them all so deeply! Julie was a bright light and beautiful spirit and made everything more fun! She will be dearly missed.

Julie was my best friend in high school. It was a tough year for me- we moved to Colorado just before the start of my junior year. Not fun being ‘the new kid’ midway through high school! Julie and I met in our German class, where she made a point of including me in the group of established friends which helped me break out of my shell. She and I started getting together on weekends for sleepovers, silly movies, Tab soda, and chocolate Pop-tarts for breakfast. I treasure my memories of time spent with Julie.
