John Vincent La Bella

John V. La Bella was born to Angie and Michael “ Mickey” La Bella on September 1, 1949. He grew up in Brooklyn New York and attended Bryant High School in Queen’s New York. He went on to attend New York Community College where he received a degree in Business. John had two younger brothers, Michael and Keith. He was also a proud Uncle and Godfather to his niece, Faith La Bella. He worked in the banking industry in Manhattan until he was 32 then in 1981 moved to California where his brother Michael lived. While living in Southern California, he continued in his field at the financial industry . When Angie was stricken with cancer, John moved back to New York to be closer to her. Growing up, John loved music and also enjoyed playing a few chords on his Martin Guitar. A few of his favorite bands were the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan and many others. He attended many concerts including, Woodstock in 1969. He would take his younger brothers Michael and Keith to many legendary concerts. John also enjoyed Broadway plays, movies and politics. He was very interested in world affairs and the new leadership in the United States. John leaves many close friends and relatives who love him and we will miss him dearly. God’s Speed John.
