Though I didn’t know you, I know you must have been an incredible Dad because you sure created an amazing woman in your daughter Teena. Her love of life spreads cheer to all who know her. May you rest in peace knowing you made the world a better place.
You’ll be missed Mr. Tenhundfeld. I would call you that and you’d always say “call me Jerry!” I always had a great deal of respect for my friends parents and especially one that had been a first responder. I have a memory of the when you would make your homemade beer. You asked if I had ever had real homemade German beer. I said no. You said here take a big slug of that as you handed me the bottle. You just withheld that it happened to still be very green beer and you laughed at the grimace on my face and me turning green myself! Smarty! You are finally reunited with Eric and I’m sure he was there to greet you on the other side. Godspeed Mr. Tenhundfeld. Until we meet again… Valarie McNeal Smith
