Helen Vincenza Myers was born Elena Vincenza Grimaldi on July 14, 1929 to Jenny and Antonio Grimaldi in Buffalo, New York. She was baptized Catholic on January 14, 1930. Her family moved to Palms, Los Angeles in 1945 and lived on Overland Avenue. Helen stayed behind an lived in Buffalo, New York to finish school, graduating in 1946 from Grover Cleveland High School. She followed her family to Los Angeles in 1947. Then she went to work as a secretary at Hughes Air Craft. Helen married Joseph Di Muro in 1950 where they lived in Culver City and had four children, Christine, Linda, Joey and Michael. In 1977 she married Richard Myers and lived in northern California for 40 years. Helen was known for her humor and quick wit ... loved making people laugh. As a child she enjoyed dancing and singing. Some of her favorite things to do were collecting treasures from yard sales and spending time at the casino. Helen liked all foods, but her favorite was pasta fagioli and tiramisu. She is survived by her 4 children, 7 grand children, Michael, Jamie, Thomas, Joey, Johnny, Donnie and Mathew, as well as 11 Great Grandchildren and two sisters Elissa, and Linda. May Helen now rest in peace and reunite with her mother Jenny, her father Antonio, her brother Richard and her beloved husband Richard.
