  1. A loving and supporting husband and a father is no longer physically with us but his spirit is always around us. My deepest condolence to Bubot and Michael

  2. Ed my friend , my brother and desk partner. We were family and loved each other like family.I will miss you so much . I knew so much about the Tiangco family from what Ed shared with me . He was sooo proud of Mike and his accomplishments . He loved Maddy dearly . Rest In Paradise my brother .

  3. Ed, a true car aficionado. We looked forward to a new car or project from you every six months. So many stories we shared. The things we did before we became fathers, our love for cars but my greatest memories were our conversations we shared about our families. Our love for our children. Our wives. He loves his family and you can see that through his son, Mike. Their relationship was not just father and son but best friends. Ed you did a wonderful job raising a strong man. He will continue your legacy and take care of his family as you did. You will be sorely missed my friend. Rest In Peace.

  4. Ed, Mr. T…was a friend and gentleman. He was a friend who enjoyed talking about NASCAR, especially, Danica Patrick. Ed will be sorely missed. Our sympathy to his family and are in our prayers. Rest in Peace, Ed, ET.

You leave behind a great legacy and an audience who really appreciate your kindness, straightforwardness and compassion. We will miss you and your great memories will never be forgotten. Farewell my friend on your journey to heaven. joey

  7. Ed, you were an amazing person and friend. I am blessed to have known you and to have been your friend the past 10 years. I enjoyed our lunches together and working with you. I loved listening to all your stories about your family, cars and your dog. I think seeing the video of your dog on the treadmill and you toweling him off after was pretty hilarious. And then when I had a flat and you didn’t want me to drive it so you drove it with a flat and let me follow you in your car. These are things I will never forget and will always appreciate. You were one of the best! Miss you my friend!

  8. Egay, you will surely be missed by everybody you left behind, family, relatives & friends. What a waste, you’ve gone too soon! You will forever stay in our memories. Rest in peace!!! So long, Brother!! From Lito & Family

  11. I am just so saddened and stunned to hear of your passing. I will never forget the time we spent on Aubries team. Oh what fun we had. You were always the most upbeat, positive person I knew. Always smiling and saying hello when I saw you. I don’t have the words to express how much I will miss seeing you at work and chatting in the halls. Rest in paradise my friend. You were one of a kind!

  12. I cannot believe you are no longer with us … I have to believe that God has bigger plans for you. “Your death made us feel a great pain because you were a unique and special person, so we have no doubt that you are in heaven resting in peace. We love you and will never forget. “

  14. I had a pleasure serving and working with Ed in Poway. I set up multiple rental cars for him in Temecula. He was alway so grateful and sincere. I was shocked to find out the sudden loss. I am keeping Ed and the Tiangco family in prayer.

    God Bless,
    Ricky L

  15. I had the pleasure of meeting Tito Egay together with his loving family back in 2009 when we visited them in San Diego. We were welcomed whole-heartedly with their outstanding hospitality.

In the short period that we spent with them, I experienced his sense of humour. He can be funny and still maintain a respectable authority figure. He with his sweet wife Tita Bubut has raised such an amazing son Michael that has become a dear friend to me.

The most memorable aspect of our short stay with them was the feeling. They have made us feel so comfortable that I felt like I was “home”. The love that surrounds his family is overwhelmingly contagious. And for that, I am thankful.

I thank God for giving me a chance to meet a great man and his loving family. We are sending our prayers and love. May he rest in peace.

  16. I write this with great sadness over the unimaginable loss of a close friend and colleague. Ed and I met and worked together while assigned to HS-6, USN. Being more senior and experienced than me at the time, he taught me tricks of the trade on how to fix helicopters, he taught me hard work, and how to take care of subordinates. He instilled in me the value of a true friendship. I admired him most for his love of his family, especially his wife Madeline and his son Michael. While at work, whether at home base or on long deployments, he would talk about them incessantly every chance he has. While out on liberty on every port visit, his first thoughts would be to call back home, and to look for souvenirs to bring back to them. Ed attended my retirement ceremony in October 2015. Although we communicated via phone calls or texts after that, little did I know that it would be the last time that we see each other face to face. Wilma and I will miss you my friend. To us, having known you was a great pleasure.

  17. I’m glad to see you the last time talking and debating politics with our uncles on our family reunion. I see how responsible you are as a husband and as a father, who gave a decent and wonderful life to bubot and Michael. Cannot question God’s plans but i’ m sure you’re in peace now with our creator!

  18. I’m going to miss you kuya egay. I know, that you’re family especially you and tita Lorie was giving guidance to my late dad before he passed away. Say “Hi” for me…I treasured all the moments that I spend time with you everytime you visited in Malabon even when my family visited in San Diego back in 2009. Me and my family, my husband Roy, my kids, Ghia, Rj and Ghini was honored to meet you, Ate Bubut and Michael will cherish all the good memories you left behind and all the guidance and advises that has never been forgotten. May you’re soul rest in peace. Our thoughts and Prayers will always be there.
Love, Gigit Mariano Sy and family.

  19. It was a real pleasure to know you Ed and so much fun to work with you for the past 14-years. It meant so much when you and your family came to visit me at the recovery center in Hemet back in 2006 after my accident and again at my home. I am so happy that I influenced you to get Chase and that he brought you all so much joy. I never would have expected to be writing this, here, now…but I guess no one ever expects to have to write these to their friends. Work will never be the same without you and you will be truly missed by so many people. No more NDE’s and no more AMOC’s my friend!

  20. Let us pray for my darls ,

O Lord, the God of mercies, grant unto the soul of thy servants the anniversary day of whose burial we
are keeping, a place of solace, of peaceful rest , of glorious light. Through Christ our Lord.

Eternal rest, grant unto them O Lord and let the perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.

    Amen.

  21. Me and my family had the privilege of sharing more than 26 years of pleasurable moments with Edong and his family. We had shared lots of laughters and lots of tears. I had come to know him as the son, the husband, the father, the brother, the uncle, and as a true friend. He loves cars as you know but his true passion is his family. Rest in peace my friend. We love you very much and we will miss you….. Love, Dennis, Erma, Denise and MM

  22. My Uncle instilled a lot of values in me as a young boy into my adulthood. He was the core, the strength, of our family for all the years I can remember. The values he instilled in me will live on through my kids. I will miss him dearly and he will always be in my heart and thoughts!

  23. Still in shock, not sure what to say. We just spoke the Friday before, you jokingly calling me Guru like you always do. And I told you I smelled chocolate on your breath. My friend, you will be missed. Work will never be the same. I will be praying for your wife and son, can’t imagine how hard this is for them. RIP Ed.

  24. We lost an amazing man. His legacy lives through his amazing son Michael, he raised an amazing young man to carry his name. Mr. Tiangco was an amazing friend who enjoyed his life. The relationship he and his son had is something I admire and the type of best friend relationship that I wish for when my sons get older. He was a loving, caring, and funny man. He did everything he needed to do for his family. He will be missed, but he will never be forgotten. Love you Mr. Tiangco !!!

  25. You were an incredibly great friend to us, Ed. We will never forget how warm and kind you and your family were to us when we moved next door to you 26 yrs ago. Dave, our children and I have many fond memories of our yrs together. You were always there to help us with our cars, computers, and taking care of our children. Even when we moved away we were able to stay in touch and get together. You were a great husband and father with a great sense of humor. You went way too soon, my friend. Ed, you will be dearly missed although we will keep you in our heart forever. Love you, Dave & Denise Miller

  26. Young man gone too soon! A loving husband, father and a great provider. So glad that we got to spend some quality time in our surprise family reunion in L A and have those memories to cherish now. I thought you’ll get the chance to visit our place in Napa Valley. The invitation is still open Egay but you’re only allowed in the wine cellar cuz I’m afraid of ghost! Lol!! Know that you’ll always be in our thoughts and prayers. May you rest In Peace with God

    Love and prayers ,
    Tita merly and uncle Quock
