Chris Luis was the best. He was kind, patient,warm and loving. I was lucky to spend many hours working side by side with him for many years at Pala. He would always be there for me helping me with whatever I needed for work or just take time and talk.My heart was broken when I learned of his passing. He always had a smile and a kind word. He was compassionate and caring. There just aren’t enough words to describe what an amazing man he was. I will forever miss him.

Chris was a caring loving smart guy with a big heart. You my friend will never be forgotten and know that you are loved and cared for. I will always keep you dear to my heart and I hope that you may rest in peace and tranquility. I will keep you in my prayers and I hope your looking down on all of us and watching over those who need it most. You will forever be missed and never to be forgotten. Rest in peace my friend and know you where truly a good friend that I will forever miss.
Luis was the nicest person you’d ever want to meet. I had the honor and privilege of knowing him and working with him. Luis was actually the first person to ever sit down and eat lunch with me the day I started at Pala Casino almost 12 years ago. I remember sitting there alone and Luis just comes right up and sits down next to me and said ” Hi are you new?” I said yes and he just sat down with me and we chatted. He made me feel comfortable right away. That was his gift, talking to people and making them feel important. I will also miss his big smile and good heart.
