Benjamin James Roy

benjamin roy
Benjamin James (Hughes) Roy born November 4, 1976, in Denver Colorado, returned to Jesus Saturday morning August 27, 2016 due to injuries from an automobile accident. He lived in Menifee, California at the time of his passing. Ben graduated from Ramona High School in 1994, San Diego County Police Academy in 2002, and San Diego State University in 2011. Ben was the son of William (Bill) Hughes and Joan Pixler Roy. He is also survived by his wife May Roy and three children. Ben was a master carpenter, entrepreneur, involved in oil and gas safety engineering, and most recently worked for SCE at Freeman Alternative Resources as a project manager. He was a man of God and used his time and talents to praise Him daily. Ben’s first priority and greatest success was family. His wife and three young children meant everything to him. He also loved serving others. On various international mission trips, he helped drill water wells and provide clean drinking water for the people he served. Ben had a very large family... it gets a little complicated: mom, dad, step-mom, step-dad, half-brothers half-sisters etc. The rest of his family included everyone he met.
