Angelina Misola Edilloran

Angelina Misola Edilloran (1947-2016): Angelina passed away peacefully on October 26, 2016, in San Diego, CA after a long illness while surrounded by family. Angelina was born on October 11, 1947 in Santa Cruz Zambales, Republic of the Philippines to Miguel and Trifona Misola. As a Child, Angelina lived in Olongapo City, Philippines, where she attended St Joseph School. During the summer months, she would travel to their summer residence located in Bolitoc Zambales, Philippines with her parents and siblings. There she would help pick mangos, plant rice and enjoy the beautiful beaches. Angelina graduated from Santa Cruz Academy in 1965 and shortly thereafter met her husband, Jovencio “Ven” Edilloran. After several years of courting, they married in December 1967. Soon thereafter, Angelina began her employment in the hospitality industry, which she enjoyed for the next 30 years. In 1998, Angelina immigrated to the United States with her husband and son to be closer to their daughter, Maricris. Upon her arrival to the United States, they first lived in San Diego, then moved to Virginia and finally settled in Las Vegas in 2003, where Angelina found employment at a large casino as a floor supervisor. Unfortunately, in 2008, Angelina was diagnosed with breast cancer stage zero. After a lumpectomy and radiation therapy her cancer went in to remission; but, by 2011 the cancer had returned and soon thereafter she began the battle of her life. She endured numerous rounds of chemotherapy, radiation treatment, infusion, oral and injectable medications and a double mastectomy. In 2014, after the sudden and unexpected death of her husband, Ven, she moved to Temecula, CA to reside with her daughter and family until her death. Angelina loved reading, sewing, socializing with her family and friends, watching various Filipino shows and CNN news, eating Filipino food and playing an occasional slot machine, but she particularly loved spending time with her husband and grandchildren. Though, through it all, she held her head up high, maintained a positive attitude and spirit and trusted God that he would not take her into His Kingdom until her job here on Earth was complete; her journey ended on October 26th, 2016. May she rest in peace and be joined once again with her beloved husband for eternal rest. Angelina is survived by her daughter Maricris Wagner; son- in law Wes Wagner of Temecula,CA; son, Alvin Edilloran of Las Vegas NV; her grandchildren, Isabella and Tristan; sisters, Jovy de Guzman,Claire Matin, Josie Elomina, Miguela Misola,Vicky Richard, Ming Bradley and Helen Rellin; and many nieces and nephews. Wake service will be held at England Mortuary 27135 Madison Ave Temecula,CA from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, October 31, 2016. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 1000 at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church, 41875 C Street, Temecula, CA. Burial will follow across the street at Temecula Cemetery. The family will greet friends at church on Wednesday from 9:00 am until the time of service.
