Adolfo Araica Peters was born on Nov 8 1932 in Managua Nicaragua to Paulina Peters and Anselmo Araica. The youngest of 4 he had two sisters and one brother. He grew up in a family that loved him and made sure he was always protected. He went to La Salle Catholic elementary and high school and upon graduation started studies in Pharmacy at the National University in Leon Nicaragua. His life would have had a steady course but he fell in love and married the love of his life Argentina Espinosa. Four children followed in quick succession, a boy Adolfo and three girls Argentina, Ofelia and Fatima. In 1960 the family moved to San Francisco CA due to the political climate and financial difficulties in Nicaragua. Adolfo worked very hard to keep his family safe and , at one point , had three different jobs, but managed to give his family a comfortable and happy life. In 1967 he decided to move his family back to Nicaragua . The years that the family lived in Nicaragua were very happy years. Adolfo's businesses flourished and grew due to Adolfo and Argentina's dedication and hard work. Their children learned the responsibilities of running a business at a very young age. Adolfo was a very generous man that gave part of his profits to his employee's and to people in need. He traveled extensible to countries in Central and North America.In 1979 the Sandinista revolution took over Nicaragua. Adolfo was robbed and abused and in 1980 he left to go back to the U.S. Arriving to San Francisco with no English skills and almost no money, he took any job to keep his family safe and fed. During this time he took solace and pride in his grandchildren and their accomplishments. After several jobs he retired from JC Penny after working there for 11 years. He retied while working crossing guard for the City of San Jose where he received commendations from the Chief of Police. in 2012 he moved to Hemet CA and retired to a peaceful life. Adolfo died on August 26 of old age. He died peacefully surrounded by his children and in a atmosphere of love. He is survived by his wife Argentina, his son Adolfo(Martha), his daughters Luz Argentina Meadows(Fred), Ofelia Ervin(Jim) and Fatima Stainier. Also 10 grandchildren, Adolfo Jesus, David, Tanya, Ernesto, Mary, Adriana, Oskar, David V., Joel and James and 3 great grandchildren, Emily, Ashly and Caleb. He will be sorely missed.
